Activist arrested when he went to follow up on a complaint before the authorities

At noon, the political prisoner on parole, Orlando Triana González, was locked up in a cell located in the municipal delegation of the Ministry of the Interior (MININT) in Camajuaní. The arrest was made by Captain Julio López when the activist showed up to process a lawsuit he has for the establishment of a dividing fence that took away part of his property, which was built by a neighbor when he was in captivity, by order of the Municipal Delegate of MININT Lieutenant Colonel Francisco Darias. The victim's niece asked for an explanation and the police chief told her: "I am not going to allow Triana González to turn Camajuaní upside down". She explained to him that he could not have participated in any protest because he was in her house the whole time. The activist was released 24 hours later, with a fine of $20 Cuban pesos (€0.6) under legal provision 1.41, article 1.
