Activist beaten up by State Security and driven away from Havana

State Security officials violently interrupted a meeting of an independent trade union group - the Congress of the Unitary Council of Workers. One of the participants, Frank Delgado Macías, was thrown off the stairs and when falling down, the officials kept beating him to his head and stunned him. Then he was taken to the police station in Castillejo where he was kept detained for several hours. The officials confiscated his ID and wallet and then released him on an isolated road near La Salud, in a very rural area, remote from Havana.
