Bartolo Cantillo was detained



Bartolo Cantillo Romero was heading to the city of Santiago de Cuba to participate in the Mass and march to demand the release of political prisoners and the end of the repression of human rights activists and people in general in Cuba. At 6:40 a.m., he was detained by the State Security along with another 10 activists at San Lino y 1 Sur street. He was pushed, handcuffed and put into the bus where he was taken more than 80 kilometers away from the city of Guantanamo, in order to deny him the access to the Mass. These actions were controlled by the head of the State Security known as Mayor Bryan or Morgan.
