Henry Couto Guzman was heading at 6:40 a.m. to the Mass in Santuario del Cobre to demand the release of political prisoners and the cessation of political repression.
He was detained on the street San Lino between 1 and 2 Sur by the Mayor of State Security Amijail and conducted in the patrol car 630 to the police unit for crimes against state security, where he was threatened by the Captain Geidy with going to the prison for his political stance. Then, he was taken more then 50 kilometers from Baracoa and there he was released around 11 a.m. on the same day.
