UNPACU activist kidnapped on the street in Guantánamo and driven outside the city

In the morning, 23 July 2020, a human rights activist Diosbany Salazar Rodríguez, having left the provincial headquarters of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) in Guantánamo, was passing through the central market. Suddenly, a white car stopped next to him and several State Security officials got off the car. They put a hood over his head and kidnapped him. On the halfway, oficials Lionis, Kevin and their colleagues whom the victim did not know, told Diosbany that he will be soon "kicked off the car". In total, the victim was taken more than 10 km away from the city. Before leaving, the officials stole his money and all his personal belongings. At 12 pm, the officials let him go.
