Human rights activist Severino Arsia Martínez was participating in a training on peaceful struggle for human rights held in the UNPACU headquarters in the municipality of Héctor Infante. When leaving the building, he was detained by State Security officials known as Arturo and Edi. He was driven to the National Revolutionary Police of Manual Tames. There, he was interrogated by Arturo who threatened with being fined and imprisoned for his activities in the opposition. Arsia Martínez was mocked in front of the other police officers present in the station. He was released the same day at 5 pm.
