Activists detained and fined when heading to headquarters of the Cuban Reflection Movement



On 5 January, 2019, René Quiñones Contreras and Yudiel del Sol Carmenate, both members of the Cuban Reflection Movement from Rodas, were on their way to the national headquarters of their organization in Camajuaní. However, at 7 am they were detained in Cienfuegos and driven to the 1st unit of the National Revolutionary Police in the same city. They were released on the same day at 5 pm after having been driven to their place of residence. They were fined 7,50 CUP for not having their IDs on them.
