Fidel Morejón accompanied by four other members of the Party for Democracy Pedro Luis Boitel were near the Municipal Court of Colón when they got intercepted by the National Police Major Luis Gustavo Sotolongo Garcia and his entourage. They prevented them from continuing to the Court where the oral hearing of Lázaro Díaz Sánchez's trial was taking place. He was taken to the police station in the police car number 208.
