On February 21, 2016, an activist Marcos Antonio Moran Pelegrin was heading to attend Sunady Mass in the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba province. The Mass was carried out in order to support release of political prisoners. At 6 am he was detained in San Lino Street by State Security officials Alex and Cesar together with the National Revolutionary Police. The victim was driven to the Police Department and released at 12 pm.
