Rafael Matos was detained at home by two State Security (DSE) agents who did not identify themselves. They told Rafael to accompany them to the police station in order to solve a problem. When they were already in the police unit, the officials said that the sector chief was accusing Rafael of disobedience since he had not attended two summons he had been invited for in order to discuss his alleged anti-government public statements. They kept him in the station until 11 pm and fined him 30 pesos in the national currency for disturbance of public order. Then Rafael was released.
