Moraima Rodríguez Batista, coordinator of PUNCLI and manager of the Emilia Project, went to the Kilo 5 y medio prison on November 28, 2021 to visit her nephew, Alexander Díaz Rodríguez, a political prisoner. When she arrived, she was not allowed to see him, only to give him some things she had brought with her. On her return home, State Security officers took her off the bus in which she was traveling and took her away in patrol car 306 to the police station at Cien y Aldabo. There, they told her that she would not be allowed to see her nephew until she stopped making publications on social networks denouncing the conditions in which Alexander lives in prison.
