The member of the Network 'Eye on Cuba' Network Jean Pierre Isla Pérez was traveling through the provinces where the other members of the Network live, with the purpose of coordinating the activities of the Network in the upcoming months. When he was on his way to the Granma terminal to continue his journey, he was intercepted by three State Security agents who suggested that he returned to Havana by hook or by crook, threatening him with a detention and inter-province deportation. They also warned him that they knew everything he had done since leaving Havana and everything that he wanted to do in the remaining provinces, so they would not let him continue. Jean Pierre told them that he was only visiting his friends, but they told him he was lying and they ordered him to give them all the money he was carrying, without giving him any document that would prove this confiscation. Jean Pierre decided to avoid the detention and return to Havana.
