The victim was traveling by car to El Cobre to attend Todos Marchamos campaign which is being held every Sunday. Suddenly, the police stopped the car and detained the victim and other activists inside. She was searched by National Revolutionary Police officers (PNR) and driven to the PNR station in Julio Antonio Mella. She was kept there for more than 4 hours and then driven outside the city, where she was left to her fate.
