The victim is a political activist and independent journalist. That day, she needed to get to Havana and later to Sancti Spíritus where she was carrying out a training and editorial meeting for a group of journalists. When she entered the bus terminal, she was detained for 3 hours in the terminal and missed the meeting she was going to attend.
