Human rights activist summoned to the Instruction Center and threatened with being accused of terrorism

Roberto Alexander Rodríguez Cardona, an independent journalist and an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), was summoned to the Provincial Instruction Center for Crimes Against State Security by secret police official known as the Lieutenant Colonel Daniel. The official told the journalist that his case will be presented in the TV program called Mesa Redonda and later he will be accused of terrorism. Preceding to this situation, in April 2020 there had been a raid conducted on the house of Rodríguez Cardona. He had been driven to the same Instruction Center and kept in detention for 24 hours.
