Human rights activist Dulce María Ruiz was at the UNPACU headquarters, attending a seminar on peaceful, nonviolent struggle. When the seminar ended and Dulce María left to go home, she was detained by a State Security official, Arturo and the head of the sector, Edi. She was taken to the National Revolutionary Police station in Hector Infante, where she was threatened and ridiculed by the State Security official known as Omaní. She was detained for three hours.
