Activist detained and threatened for his participation in human rights seminars



Human rights activist, Raudel Martínez Millán, was in his father's house, where a seminar and debate took place about the fight for human rights for members of UNPACU of the Héctor Infante group. Upon leaving to accompany his colleagues to the bus stop, he was detained by an official of the State Security, Arturo, head of the sector, Edi, and two more policemen. He was taken to the police unit Manuel Tames. Here, he was interrogated by Omaní, a State Security official, and was threatened that he would be fined 150 pesos for planning counterrevolutionary meetings. The official told him that he only had a little time left before he would be incarcerated. He was released the same day at 6:30 pm.
