At 10 am, Rafael Matos Montes de Oca was summoned by Lieutenant Maikel Lores to the police unit called Parque 24. When he arrived, he was received and interrogated by the State Security officials known as Sergio and Kevin or Jefferson. The officials told him that José Daniel Ferrer, a human rights defender and fouder of the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), just wanted to use him to help him to create new groups in Guantánamo. However, when Rafel was in jail, he did not helped him. They also told him that if he tried to go to Santiago de Cuba, they would detain him and if he tried to join again the UNPACU, he would be put in jail. He was detained for about two hours in the police unit and then released.
