Adrián Quesada Flores was detained at the Méndez Square in Camagüey by State Security officials (DSE) known as Maikel and Frank along with several policemen and three patrol cars. The DSE officials intersected Adrián when he was distributing to public leaflets about the campaign “La cola de la libertad”. After the detention, he was taken to the 3rd Police Unit where Maikel and Frank threatened him with imprisonment if he kept spreading the printed material in the streets. Before his release, he was fined 2000 pesos for an alleged spread of the pandemic. Then he was eventually released at about 7 pm. Several activists from the province gathered in front of the police station and were calling for Adrián's release.
