A man from Guantánamo harassed at Parque 24 due to his protest against the government

Ibán Rubio Fabre was summoned to the police unit in Guantánamo known as Parque 24 for 9:30 am. At the unit, official Yordanis, the head of the Central Council, told him that he is a criminal and a thief. Ibán replied that almost everybody in Cuba was a thief. The official reacted by slapping his face and encouraging him to do the same so the official could put him in jail for an assault. After that, official Yordanis called a State Security official (DSE) known as Kevin or Edwin Jefferson and told him that Rubio Fabre is there and he can talk to him. Ibán replied that there was nothing to talk about with him. Ibán Rubio Fabre, before having been summoned to the police unit, had carried out a protest and climbed a tower belonging to the ETECSA company, while shouting anti-government slogans. For that reason, the DSE summoned him to the unit, considering him an opposition member.
