Arturo Feliciano Acosta Guillen was summoned to appear at the State Security Detention Center known as Operations. There he was interrogated by Captain Kevin o Jefferson, the second head of the department that deals with issues of dissidence. The officer notified him of an espionage network on the island, with agents spanning from Baracoa (Guantánamo province) to the province of Pinar del Río. He said that these people were sending information to foreign powers and that Arturo belonged to the network. Additionally, he let Arturo know that he could be imprisoned with a long sentence for this crime and told him that anyone who intends to change Cuba's social system will be tried and prosecuted by the courts. The officer finished by threatening Arturo not to hold any more meetings in his home. Arturo remained in the detention center for four hours until he was released.
