Activist fired for collaborating with opposition groups

Augustin Palma Maza had been working with an official contract for three months in a bakery when the authorities summoned him. They told him that his contract ended because, according to his boss, he was not attending on Saturdays in order to attend the church. Augustin denied it and he stated that he had been collaborating with opposition groups in the province. He collaborated with groups such as the Cuban Youth Movement for Democracy or with the Eastern Democratic Alliance.
