Héctor López Pérez, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), is imprisoned in the Combinado de Guantánamo Prison. On 25 May 2021, he was placed to a solitary cell as several complaints on human rights situation in prison had been found in his cell. Currently, the situation in the prison regarding the food supplies is very tough. Moreover, the relatives are prohibited from visiting the prisoners, they can just bring some food every two month and leave it at the prison entrance.
