UNPACU activist threatened by the State Security in Guantánamo



In the morning, 12 May 2020, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), Luis Vera Espejo, was summoned to the police unit Parque 24 located in the city of Guantánamo. There he was received by a State Security official known as Matute. The official threatened Enrique with imprisonment and issued him an official warning for being in touch with counter-revolutionary elements. On the top of that, he was banned from visiting an activist Rafael Punte Creme otherwise he would be accused of spreading the pandemic of COVID 19.
