Activist threatened for distributing the Universal Declaration of Human Rights



The activist of the Patriotic Union of Cuba (UNPACU), Lariné Rodríguez Delgado, was the victim of discriminatory acts and psychological violence by the Captain of the Department of State Security (DSE) Nuri Durán Pajan. The official appeared at the workplace where the aforementioned activist works to threaten her with a warning if she continued to give the workers of that educational center the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. According to this official, the activist had given away more than 10 Declarations at the school where she works. The officer threatened the activist with a warning and with the confiscation of all her work equipment, such as a telephone, a computer, and other equipment that she uses to carry out her activist work.
