The Department of State Security (DSE) tried to confiscate activist Rene Rodriguez Vera's mail without them knowing what was in the package. In addition, the activist was detained without any evidence against him. During his detention he was officially warned because he was allegedly responsible for and complicit in having received a subversive document at another time. Activist René Rodríguez Vera was also threatened with jail if he continued to carry out subversive and counterrevolutionary activities.
