A group of young people were celebrating the birthday of one of their friends, they were walking along the Ave de los Presidentes looking for the corner of G Street and 23rd Street, when the car 085 parked on the opposite sidewalk. Two police officers got out of the vehicle and jumped on the group, stopping one of the minors. When the older brother of the detainee complained, the cop said "the one we took was him... if you don't have your identity card either I don’t care, he was the one we took..." and they took him to the patrol car, pushed him against the car and put the handcuffs on him. The detainee was not allowed to make any calls either before being taken to the unit nor in the unit of Zapata and C. Despite the fact that at the time of the events the detainee was 16 years old, he was detained in a dungeon. Weeks earlier, the victim had appeared in a video about why young people in Cuba leave school. On the other hand, his father, who is an apostle of a Christian movement not recognized by the government, said that this is one more way in which they are repressed for their religious beliefs.
