Lady in White Mayra García Álvarez ended up arrested on Sunday March 24 in order to prevent her from attending Mass in the church in Colón. When she was leaving her house, a lady in civilian clothes and State Security official told her: "Stop, you will have to accompany me." Mayra asked him to indentify himself. He replied that he did not have his ID with him. Mayra was then taken to the Feria Ganadera Park where she was kept under detention until 12:30 pm.
