Lady in White Detained for Her Activism Within UNPACU



When the activist was about to go to the church to attend a Sunday masss, she was approached by national police officers, who followed the orders of the political police. By dragging her, they seated her in the patrol car, saying they would not let her and the other activists support propaganda against the regime. She was detained in the PNR of Gibara for 6 hours and received threats that aimed to discourage her from activism within UNPACU.
