Lady in White Detained for Her Activism Within UNPACU

She was about to go to a church to attend a Sunday mass, when national police approached her in a street, following the orders of the political police. Dragging her, they took her to the patrol car, saying they would not allow her and her companions to meet and spread opposition propaganda. She was detained in the PNR of Gibara for 6 hours, facing threats that aimed to discourage her from continuing activism within the UNPACU.
