Lady in White Detained for Her Activism



The activist was on her way to the church to attend mass on Sunday, when she was approached by officers of the National Police under the command of agents of the political police. They dragged her to a patrol car, claiming that they would not allow her and other Ladies in White to support enemy propaganda. She was detained in the PNR of Gibara for 6 hours and received threats because of her activism in UNPACU.
