Henry Couto Guzmán was on his way to the Provincial Headquarters of Patriotic Union of Cuba. Later he planned to go to Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province in order to attend Mass which was conducted to support Ladies in White and Todos Marchamos campaign. He was detained by State Security official Brayan who took him to the Police Department prosecuting crimes against state security. He was also threatened with going to the prison.
