UNPACU activist and his wife prevented from attending Mass



From the early morning hours on Sunday, 31 March 2019, a police action was launched in the Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue and Los Maceos Street in Guantánamo. The goal was to prevent an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU) Bartolo Cantillo Romero from attending Sunday Mass along with his wife. The were both put in the patrol car no. 606 and driven to the Police Instruction Unit. There, they were kept for 12 hours without any water or food.
