UNPACU activist from Guantánamo detained on his way to Mass

Yoendris was on his way to the Church of Santa Catalina de Ricci, carrying a poster asking for release of all political prisoners. He was planning to attend the Sunday Mass which is carried out in this church. When he was walking down the Los Maceos Street between 3 and the Camilo Cienfuegos Avenue, the State Security (DSE) officials known as Víctor Víctor and Luis Ángel or Roberto detained him. He was taken to the police station in the municipality of El Salvador. There he was told that he should avoid going to the church with the other activists, namely Celina and Bartolo, otherwise he would follow them to the prison as well. He was released at 10 am on the next day without any further consequences.
