Cuban State denies housing promised to a man more than 30 years ago

For the promise of decent housing a Cuban citizen participated in his youth in the zafra (sugar cane cultivation), was a member of the struggle against bandits in Escambray and an active member of the communist party. Despite the promise of the party and the government to receive a new property or resources for the reconstruction of the old one, in a visit made on October 18, 2019, state officials told him that due to new regulations in commerce and the existing crisis, they could not give him a house or materials for the reconstruction. The victim denounced that despite the alleged scarcity of resources, less than 1 KM from his house they paved a race of more than 3 kilometers for the military unit.
