Citizen from Guantánamo summoned to the police station and threatened for meeting "counterrevolutionary elements"

In the morning, 24 February 2020, the young Yuniesqui Cachimay Savon was summoned to the police unit called Parque 24. When he arrived, he was received by the State Security official known as Víctor. Víctor intorrogated him and threatened him with imprisonment for being in touch with counterrevolutionary elements such as Yanier Joubert, a neighbor of the victim. "We have people who drag you into acts of sabotage and criminal activities," said the official to Yuniesqui, making reference to several posters which had appeared in the Martí Street and 4 Norte in a grocery store. This was the reason why the young man had been summoned and threatened as well as the fact the prisoner Rafael Puentes Creme, an activist from the Cuban Patriotic Union (UNPACU), is his relative.
