The human rights defender was detained distributing bulletins

The human rights defender and activist of the Ombudsman's Office was brutally detained by the State Security (DSE). Esteban was in the street Colón in Pinar del Río, supporting the activists Lázaro Luis Ruiz Echevarría and Yaimel Rodríguez Arroyo to distribute the bulletin Panorama Pinareño. Suddenly, the officers of the DSE, Lieutenant Jorgito and Major Iban Blanco, appeared along with some policemen. They forced him to get in a car that belongs to the Ministry of the Interior. At the police station, he was officially warned for the crime of public disorder. Also, they took his phone and erased all his photos (among them the photos of the detention). He was released after four hours of threat and repression.
