At 6 am, two police officers and a person in civilian clothes knocked the door of Elmis's house. The civilian, without any identification, entered sharply to a room where Elmis's wife was present, without any clothes on. He told her to leave the room and they had a small argument. Then the policemen told the unidentified man to leave the room and informed Elmis that his house will be searched because they had allegedly beef meet and some oil of dubious origin at home. The officers did not find anything during the house search and they told Elmis to come to the police unit called Parque 24. When he arrived, they told him he could go and that nothing happened. On the next day, Elmis went to the Ministry of Interior (MININT) to a desk for citizens to file a complaint about the way the house search had been conducted. Few days later, he was summoned to the court for disrespect. On June 27, the trial took place and Elmis was fined 1500 pesos in CUP.
