Activist detained and labelled as a CIA agent



At 10.30 pm, political activist Aurelio Cabrera González was detained by States Security officials Lieutenant Colonel Yoel, Captain Tony and 1st Lieutenant Luisito, when he was having a beer in a place known as Tienda Recaudadora de Divisas (TRD) in Sancti Spíritus with his Cuban-American friend from childhood. He was driven by car to the rear entrance of the National Revolutionary Police Fist Unit. He was kept in a prison cell until 4 am and then released. During the detention, he was threatened and insulted, for example the officials told him that he is a CIA agent who is maintaining the connection through his friend.
