Activist detained with her husband while going to Havana



At 6 am, when a human rights defensor Yusleidy Romero Becerra was on her way to attend an event in La Habana, she was detained by State Security officials along with her husband in the bus terminal in Pinar del Río. She was forced to get in a green Lada car which belongs to the Counterintelligence Directorate. Inside the car, she was told by Captain Juan Pérez that she wouldn´t go to Havana to meet the counterrevolutionary activists. Moreover she was threatened that if she continued her activities, she would be driven so far away from home, that it would take her ages to go back. She was released 3 hours later.
