Felipe Blanco Gonzales was detained by a secret police official Alex while heading to the UNPACU Headquarters, located in San Lino Street in Guantánamo. Later he wanted to attend Mass in the Santuario del Cobre in Santiago de Cuba Province. The Mass was being conducted to support Ladies in White, Todos Marchamos campaign and release of political prisoners. After his detention, Felipe was driven to the Police Department in Niceto Pérez where he was kept until 11 am. During this time, he was insulted by Major Bryan who called him mercenary.
