Police searches a house of Havana journalist



Political police together with regular police officers conducted a raid on a house of the Havana-based journalist, Yunia Figueredo Cruz. In total eight people participated in the house search which took about two hours. During the search, they confiscated her laptop and cell phone. However, the main thing they were probably interested in the most, was a hard copy of José Martí’s thoughts which Yunia had been distributing in the neighborhood. When they found it, the announced that the house search was finished and left.
