Activists arrested to prevent them from attending Sunday's mass



On 7th July, Bartolo Cantillo Romero and other human rights activist, were detained by the political police in Guantánamo to prevent them from attending Sunday morning mass at the Cathedral of Santa Catalina de Ricci in this city. It was learned that the arrests were carried out by the crew of the jeep of the operative guard N0. 761, who took them to a remote place in the municipality of Manuel Tames and abandoned them on a lonely road so that they could not attend the mass.
