Detained at the checkpoint in Cayamo

On February 21, 2016, Luis Bello Gonzalez was going to attend Mass in the Santuario del Cobre. The Mass was carried out in order to support Ladies in White and Todos Marchamos campaign which calls for freedom for political prisoners. At 5:30 in the morning, Luis was detained at the checkpoint in Cayamo by secret police chief Cantillo, a State Security official Montalvo and the National Revolutionary Police. He was transported to the Police Station in Caimanera and released at 1 pm.
