Bartolo Cantillo was on his way to the Santa Catalina de Ricci Church in order to attend Sunday Mass. When he was passing through Los Maceos and El 3 Sur Street, he was detained by State Security officials known as Kevin and Orbis. They took him to the DSE unit called Operations. Bartolo was released on the same day at 2 pm.
