Aloy Betancourt Méndez was detained when he was leaving his house in order to attend a meeting with opponents of the regime in the municipality of Perico on Saturday, 25 May. He was detained by secret police official Dayron and driven to the police station in Carlos Rojas. He was kept there all the time during his detention. He was released at 11:45 am.
