Activist detained in order to prevent him from leaving his province

Manuel was about to travel to the Santiago de Cuba Province using carpooling system of the public transport. When they were passing through the checkpoint in Río Frío, the police officers on duty detained him. The State Security (DSE) officer known as Raúl or Yosvanis took him to the DSE detention center known as Operations. There he was interrogated by DSE officials known as Kevin or Edwin Jefferson who told him that nobody from their organization - Oriental Democratic Union (ADO) will leave the province and if so, they would be kept and they would loose their money they paid for the transport. He was released at 12 pm on 1 February without any further consequences.
