Activist prevented from leaving the country for a training in Argentina

Eglits Guilarte Aranda was prevented from boarding a plane going to Argentina in order to participate in a training. When arrived at the Immigration Desk, he was asked to go back and wait in the queue. Few minutes later, another immigration officer appeared and said to Eglits that he could not make the flight, without having explained him anything. He just added that the flight ticket will be valid for one year. In February 2018, Eglits received an invitation for this event for the first time, however, he was not allowed to apply for a visa, since there had been travel restrictions imposed on him. Nevertheless, this travel restriction was lifted on the day he was supposed to travel.
