Human rights activist restricted from leaving the country to participate in a training

Sissi Abascal Zamora was prevented from boarding a plane going to Argentina in order to participate in a training. When arrived at the Immigration Desk, she was asked to go back and wait in the queue. Few minutes later, another immigration officer appeared and said to Sissi that she could not make the flight, without having explained her anything. He just added that the flight ticket will be valid for one year. In February 2018, Sissi was invited by Ladies in White for a course in Perú. When she wanted to extend the validity of her passport, she was told she could not travel. However, she knows, that the travel restriction was lifted sometime after this happened.
