Activist detained while heading to the UNPACU Headquarters in Guantánamo



The activist Manuel de Jesús Albear Odelin was detained by State Security official and patrol car No. 631 in 4 Sur Street between San Tarita and San Lino Street. He was driven to the Police Department in San Antonio del Sur where he was threatened by State Security official Alayo Visotual who told him, that if he continued destabilizing the country, he would be put in jail or killed, if necessary. This happened when Jesús was on his way to the UNPACU Headquarters in Guantánamo located in San Lino Street. After that, he was planning to attend Mass in the Santuario del Cobre which was held in support of Ladies in White and Todos Marchamos Campaign.
